Our client is a growing, profitable business in the construction sector with a strong presence in their specialism.

Your new role
Due to internal changes, they are currently looking to appoint an experienced, diligent, Financial Controller who is keen to embrace the company's values of flexibility and adaptability to accomplish the set goals. In this position you would be responsible for managing all finance and accounting operations. Managing a team of three you would be covering all transactional finance on a 'hands on' basis, taking responsibility for the management accounting including budgeting, forecasting, gross margin reporting, variance analysis and cost analysis. You would also be driving the year end technical accounting.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal person for this position will be fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, with a proven, recent track record working in a role of similar stance, leading a small finance team. Strong system skills are essential, experience in the construction sector, highly preferable. It is key that you have excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative nature, progressive persona and the ability to drive and implement change.
