Job Description

Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you will play a critical role on the expanding Finance and Accounting team as the company rapidly scales applying your comprehensive experience towards ongoing financial success. You will ensure efficiency and accuracy in our day-to-day accounting and period-end close process. As the Senior Accountant, you will be trusted to apply thorough knowledge of accounting processes and sharp analytical skills to provide accurate financial information to fuel further growth. You are a positive, open, and intellectually curious team player who embraces the challenges and excitement of a cross-functional organization and an entrepreneurial business.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive background through 3+ years applied experience in accounting, including in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent and highly proficient in MS Excel.
• Experience utilizing finance/accounting software
• Strong understanding of and experience in preparing financial statements
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and complete high-quality projects amidst tight timelines and competing deadlines; exceptional attention to detail
• Demonstrates outstanding in-person, oral and written communication skills
• Exhibits good listening and comprehension, cognitive and analytical
• Must maintain high level of confidentiality and integrity
• Desire for continuous career growth and responsibility

Huge plus (but not required)

• Experience within public accounting
• Experience with technical accounting research/implementing new accounting standards
• Previous experience in a fast-growing environment
• CPA licensed or eligible
• Interest and experience in technical accounting research

Compensation: $80,000 to $95,000 + bonus
