You will work for an established Media Production company, based in the heart of London City
Your new role
In this varied Accounts Assistant job, you will work in a small finance team, supporting the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for end to end transactional finance including raising sales invoices (Billing), posting and allocation of receipts, Credit Control, processing supplier invoices, processing payment runs and adhoc bank payments (in multiple currencies), ensuring invoices are correctly coded and managing staff expenses. Your role will also encompass bank and credit card reconciliations, petty cash, and supporting month end processes including VAT, prepayments and accruals.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to evidence a minimum of two years working in a similar role. You will be a driven and capable individual with a desire to learn and understand, ask questions and see the bigger picture. Sage 50 system experience is highly advantageous as is a basic understanding of VAT rules. You will also demonstrate strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) and ideally have prior experience working with multiple currencies.
