Group Accountant - Travel - £50-60,000

Your new company
You will be working for one of the most well-known travel business in the UK and beyond. The business has a focus on technological development and remained stable during the pandemic due to their diversified portfolio. They are forecast to perform exceptionally in 2022 due to consumers' desire to book post-pandemic holidays. The business operates in 20+ countries worldwide and has a large finance team with various sub-divisions to cover these areas.

Your new role
Key responsibilities include:

• Ownership of the local and statutory reporting for 6 entities, covering multiple currencies
• Group consolidation work and management of inter-company reconciliations
• Contribution to product launch projects outside of the UK
• Ad hoc support to the wider finance team, giving you exposure to multiple areas of finance

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a recently ACA qualified accountant who trained in a top-tier UK accounting practice. You will have a strong technical skill set coupled with exceptional communication skills. Any experience of consolidation work and / or reporting under IFRS would be beneficial.
