Our Client who operates within the Financial Industry has an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Consultant to join their team in Centurion. This is an office based and remote position. (Hybrid work)

*Minimum requirements:*

* 3+ years working experience with salaries & wages on payrolls sized 20 to 500+ employees
* General Ledger knowledge
* IRP5 submissions experience and knowledge
* PaySpace/Sage VIP or Cloud payroll experience
* Advanced Excel skills
* Solid understanding of legislation pertaining to payroll
* Payroll Best practice knowledge
* Accounting background will be beneficial
* Working Hours: 9am to 5pm (flexi hours offered)
* Must have good internet access for remote work at home
*Duties will be, but not limited to:*

* Preparing and accurately processing the entire payroll cycle; from capturing new employees, loading/maintaining all earnings, deductions & benefits up to termination
* Thorough reconciliations of benefits and payrolls
* CSV file creation
* Maintaining proper document control
* Generating and preparing reports according to each client
* General ledger processing
* Assist with payroll queries
* Assist in annual audits
* Annual IRP5 submissions
* Keep abreast of the latest legislation
* Assisting with client queries
* Ensuring all deadlines are met with accuracy
