Portsmouth, Hampshire, GB, PO6 3EN Company: Babcock Finance Manager Portsmouth About the role Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Finance Manager to support the Business Facing Finance Director and Business Facing team. This is a key role within the business with a focus on increased controls around budgeting, forecasting and reporting. You will be responsible for the management of the contract's finances. Key


• Production of timely and technically accurate contract/site based budget, forecast and strategic plan reports and presentations for the Business Facing Finance Director including liaison with contract/site stakeholders.
• Produce monthly management accounts including site commentaries
• Provide support to the monthly reviews of new business/projects/pricing and the tracking of same
• Provide financial support to achieve key performance measurement and efficiency targets
• Reconcile operational data to that reflected in the accounts and on other ancillary source data systems This is an excellent position with exciting opportunities to progress and develop within the business. You will hold a full Accountancy qualification, CIMA/ACCA etc. and have previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or Finance Manager position. You will be keen to drive value in the contract, reducing cost and increasing profitability. You will also demonstrate experience in data manipulation and the use of financial models. Knowledge of long term accounting would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will have aspirations to develop within the role and progress in the business.
