The Business Associate is responsible for providing direct support to SSGA's EMEA business across a range of strategic and tactical activities.  You will collaborate with members of the SSGA EMEA team to design, develop and execute strategic initiatives and business plans.  This role will provide an opportunity to build rewarding partnerships and to contribute - directly - towards driving SSGA's EMEA business forward.

As Business Associate, you will:

  • Collaborate with business lines across SSGA to develop and implement business strategy

  • Measure performance of initiatives (including internal initiatives) relative to expectations

  • Prepare presentation materials, briefing notes and internal communications for senior leaders Support efforts to deliver SSGA's key strategic initiatives - including the development of SSGA EMEA's ESG proposition and the commercialization of this proposition

  • Drive delivery of SSGA EMEA's 'firm building' agenda - including townhalls, etc.

  • Build and maintain relationships with -internal teams across SSGA EMEA..  Partner with these teams as appropriate/as needed on key deliverables

  • Attend meetings and provide progress reports to the SSGA EMEA Chief of Staff

  • Solid problem solving skills

  • Affinity for data analysis with solid quantitative skills

  • Team player who can cope with tight deadlines and multiple deliverables

  • Ability to build relationships across all areas of the firm

  • High levels of self-motivation, energy and initiative  Interest in financial markets
