Junior Project Co-ordinator, Professional Services, Accountancy

Junior Project Co-ordinator required to work for an Accountancy firm based in Central London. However, due to Covid-19, there will be a good home-working set up. You will need to travel to the London offices on the odd occasion too though!

The role will work with the manager and partner team in managing projects and coordinating tasks associated with international scale audit and tax engagements. You will provide support to sector managers and partners to ensure that the projects are delivered on time and on budget, and with an exceptional client focus at the core. It will also involve direct engagement with key clients and internal stakeholders.

Ideally we want someone who has passion to join a Professional Services business and who wants a break into Operational Project Management. This is NOT IT. Anyone with a Prince 2 certification, or any Project Management qualification would certainly be welcomed. Read on for more details...

Technical Knowledge and Professional Qualifications

• Ideally have a degree or equivalent work experience

• Proven experience as either in managing projects and or in a strong administrator role

• Proven experience of effective diary management

• Advanced level in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)

• PRINCE 2 (or equivalent) qualification desirable


• Proactive and takes personal responsibility for tasks and action

• Strong time management skills, ability to consistently deliver in demanding and changing environments

• Very strong organisation skill

• Ability to work independently

• Strong attention to detail

• Good communication skills - verbal and written

Personal Qualities

• Forward thinking and anticipates requirements. Takes ownership of issues, either finding a solution or seeking advice where necessary.

• Has the confidence to be proactive and complete matters arising before being instructed to do so. Communicates face to face as much as possible rather than via email.

• Able to demonstrate excellent client service

• Actively contributes to team activities and communications.
