Accounts Payable Clerk

£24,000 per annum


Company client has a fantastic new opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk with their client based in Edinburgh. This is a full-time, permanent position and will be based on-site.

Role and

responsibilities:

Process high volume, multi-currency invoices on daily basis
Maintain purchase ledger filing system
Supplier statement reconciliations
Supplier payments, both weekly and any ad hoc payments
General maintenance of the purchase ledger to ensure it is accurate at all times
General ad hoc duties as and when required

Skills required:

Previous experience in similar role essential
Experienced with accounting software (Moveware & Sage desirable)
Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
Good organisational skills and able to work to tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
