I am partnering with a business in the supply chain sector to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join the team.

Credit Controller

Responsibilities:

  • Controlling credit and debtor chasing
  • Set-up standard computer-based letters with the relevant automated reminders
  • Produce debtors report for board meetings with 'stop' accounts suggestions where necessary
  • Audit of company bank account for payments sent and received against company debtors list
  • Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct
  • Raising Credit Notes
  • Completing Credit Checks
  • Sales ledger maintenance; to include updating of client contact details etc
  • Working with spreadsheets and sales ledgers

Credit Controller Requirements:

  • A proactive, positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong work ethic, to do what is required to get the job done
  • Able to work on own initiative and self-motivated; requiring minimal supervision
  • Effective at managing conflicting priorities
  • Works well under pressure
