Financial Operations Officer
Financial Operations Officer -Wells (Somerset)-Permanent - £26,500 DOE
ARM are supporting one of clients in Well, Somerset with the Recruitment of Financial Operations officer. This role offers hybrid working and is on a permanent basis.
The purpose of the role is to ensure that income is accurately posted to the companies finance and housing management system.
Responsibilities:
- Processing all payments received.
- Raise and despatch debtor invoices.
- Reconciliation of cash and transfer postings.
- Preparation of refunds.
- Examinations of current customer and debtor credits.
- Administration and collection of direct debits.
- Creating and amending customer accounts.
Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE Standard (or equivalent), including passes in English and Maths.
- Working with computerised accounts systems and able to pick up new I.T. systems quickly.
- Experience of working in a transaction processing office environment.
- Reasonable level of IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (excel, Word and Outlook) and CRM databases
- Ability to organise and prioritise work, often under pressure.
- Good numeracy, analytical and financial skills.
- Ability to act with discretion and confidentiality
- Excellent attention to detail
