Commercial Surveyor

oCommercial property agency experience, primarily dealing with office, industrial, retail portfolios, both occupied and vacant.

oA full understanding of RICS professional standards.

oReading leases and other legal documents and completing computer input forms.

oManaging vacant national portfolio of properties with the support of the Facility Manager and Recovery Account Manager

oRoutine periodic site inspections and those for specific works or feedback regarding particular issues

oAttending client meetings

oTo work with facilities managers, credit controllers, client accountants, purchase ledger and treasury and other central functions

oTo assist the Managing Director to ensure sustainability initiatives are implemented across the portfolio in line with the business and our clients objectives

oTo ensure our property management systems are kept up to date at all times.

The ideal candidate must have:

oAble to read and understand Leases and other legal documents

oIdeally have some knowledge of relevant Landlord and Tenant Act, RICS and ARMA Guidelines and Regulations (basic/working)

oBe organised/have a methodical approach to their work

oGood communication and written reporting skills

oThe ability to gain trust and respect from colleagues, tenants and contractors

oMRICS is desirable.

We will give you:

oA salary ranging from £50,00 - £75,000 per annum dependent on experience
