About the team
The Reconciliations team are responsible for the reconciliation of merchant and card scheme processing together with the reconciliation of domestic and international bank accounts. Working within our Treasury Function the Technical Lead will be key contact for the business regarding specialist technical knowledge for Reconciliations.
What you will be doing: As Team Manager you will be managing, coaching and developing a team of 8-10 staff ensuring the team deliver to SLA's and meet daily objectives. You will be responsible for managing daily tasks and escalations monitoring and appropriately delegating work flow.


- Proactive engagement with key stakeholders across the business
- Capability to demonstrate confidence with decision making and an ability to effectively present recommendations
- Identification of areas for continuous improvement
- Conducting monthly team 1-2-1s and team meetings
- Accountability for management of performance and development plans
- Responsibility for shift patterns and managing holiday cover
- Leading the team through change transitions
- Managing team performance against SLAs, targets and behaviours
- Supporting Lean Diagnostics for your team
- Driving team motivation and being a champion of our culture and values
- Able to get to the 'best process' for the 'best outcome'
- Accountable for SOX compliance
What you bring:
- Proven track record of managing teams within high volume transactional environments
- Ability to proactively manage escalations whilst managing stakeholders' expectations
- Ability to review and implement departmental controls to ensure that team SLAs are met
- Strong focus on process improvement initiatives
- A flexible approach to be able to work within a fast paced and changing environment
- Good problem solving, identifying root cause and fixing it
- Contributing to department actions
- Working towards AAT or eqv OR willing to in the future
