Salary: Circa to £70000 plus excellent benefits package + 15 bonus + 9.5 pension.My client is a successful and well known Global diversified Insurance company with a number of distinct brands within their portfolio. Lines of Defence are being strengthened, which has required an expansion of the Internal Audit division.Due to this expansion plan for the internal audit team, the business is currently seeking the critical appointment of an audit Senior.The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant/auditor or late stage part qualified from Lloyds of London/Managing Agent. You will have previous financial services experience gained either from an internal audit role in industry or from a Top 10 practice. You will have an excellent record of achievement and be keen to join a blue chip organisation where there is a strong emphasis on adding value to the business.Internal/external audit experience for at least 36 months "Big 4" experience preferred.Knowledge/experience of Sarbanes-Oxley framework preferred.Experience of the London market, or insurance sector preferred.Solvency II and internal model awareness/audit experience preferred.Experience of project/change management audit preferred.Awareness of risks and controls relating to core business systems/platforms.Good interpersonal skills are essential for this busy audit department as are relationship management skills.
