Our exclusive client based in Bury are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. This new role has been developed due to an internal promotion and will be 70% payroll and 30% accounts assistant duties.
Duties include:Running the monthly payroll for 160 peopleManually calculating hours and overtime payments from timesheetsProcessing holiday pay, pension and adhoc paymentsDealing with year end payroll duties, P60's and P11d'sDealing with starters and leavers including P45'sWeekly cash reporting and quarterly forecasting, making any adjustments to budget where necessaryProducing various payroll reports via ExcelProducing payroll cost reports for different department managersAssisting the Finance Manager with any other duties relevant to the payroll department
You need to be a good communicator and be very comfortable communicating with people at all levels within the company. You must have a high level of accuracy and have excellent attention to detail. Training will be given therefore if you are working in a role where you have used Excel regularly and can demonstrate a high level of accuracy, this could be the role for you.
