We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our London based global corporate FP&A team to use the insights they gather to help inform, influence and drive global business decisions in a timely manner. This role will require the candidate to work with large data sets to provide summarised insights on global financial performance & outlook, support the delivery of the overall global management reporting pack, support global FP&A reporting control & review process for key areas of our business performance, and provide ongoing support for all other corporate FP&A related matters. The candidate will report to the Head of FP&A based in London, part of a team of 4 and work closely with key FP&A colleagues across all our markets & global functions. Through developing a deep understanding of business performance this role will be critical in ensuring as a global corporate FP&A team we are able leverage all insights available to add value to global business decisions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* To proactively support the Head of FP&A & global stakeholders with regards to any global management reporting matters.
* Build on current global management reporting control & validation processes
* Proactively seek out opportunities to improve global reporting from both an efficiency of delivery & presentation of insights perspective
* Support the review of the global management accounts, from a monthly & forecast perspective identifying key insights & trends to be highlighted to senior executives as appropriate
* Build strong relationships with FP&A stakeholders across our global organization in order to be able to provide a strong narrative on performance & understanding of any risks or opportunities the financial performance has identified.
* Support financial insights & reporting requests from Global functions by establishing if the insights can be delivered with existing available reporting or working with relevant stakeholders to establish how this can be robustly facilitated in a timely manner.
* Provide support to all budgeting and forecasting cycles within the time parameters as set by the business with regards to global FP&A reporting


Essential Skills & Requirements
* Part-Qualified or equivalent accountant (CCAB, ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Experience in media, or a similar industry preferably within an international company
* Proven experience of supporting the delivery of monthly financial reporting to leadership
* Experience of identify opportunities & developing improvements to controls & validation processes in complex management reporting
* Ability to build good working relationships to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across a variety of levels & areas of the business
* Proven experience in drawing relevant insights from reports & large data sets, and being a 'voice in the room' to influence subsequent discussions and decisions.
* Prior experience of dealing with complex intercompany reconciliations and reporting also desirable
* Experienced Oracle EPM, Excel and Google products user.
* High-level written and verbal communication skills.
* Self-motivated, working on your own initiative.
