RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

The Global Markets Operating Risk team is responsible for oversight of Operational Risk (across Sales, Trading, Engineering and Operations), Supervision, Conduct, Control Remediation, and Business Resiliency for the Global Markets Division.

The Global Markets Supervision team exists to both address immediate risk management priorities in the Supervision risk space within Global Markets and to develop new innovations in this field. The focus of the team is the supervision related risks that arise within the activities of the Global Markets Division, including both traditional business lines and electronic trading business lines.

Global Markets Supervision Global Co-Lead

As a supervisory risk global co-lead you will manage a team of risk professionals focused on the supervisory risk and controls in Global Markets Division. You will be responsible for the design of new supervisory controls and the re-architecture of existing controls. You will collaborate with Business Supervisors across Sales, Trading and Strats and Control Engineers to deliver best in class supervision controls.

Your Impact:

Managing and implementing the supervisory control framework for Global Markets DivisionLeading projects improving and maintaining tools supporting the supervisory control frameworkIdentify opportunities to enhance the supervisory control framework and work with Business Supervisors to build best in class supervisory risk managementLiaise with other Divisions, such Compliance, Legal, Risk and Internal Audit as well as support regulatory interactions

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FORStrategic thinker able to identify and developer innovative solutions to better manage supervision riskExperience collaborating with design and engineering peers in a product development capacityA broad understanding of revenue generative functionsUnderstanding of risks across sales and trading businessExperience managing projects, and building and maintaining stakeholder relationshipsExperience of operational risk and a familiarity with operational risk frameworks a plusExperience in process redesign and executing strategic concepts from inception to implementationAbility to prioritize and meet simultaneous competing demands and a passion for a drive to deliverInterest in developments in the global financial regulatory environment, specific knowledge of front office supervision frameworks a plus
