**Description of the Business Line or Department**

GLBA/IBD/TMT is in charge of structuring and providing tailored debt financing solutions for Telecoms, Media and Technology sector clients in the EMEA region.

The team's client base includes private equity and infrastructure sponsors as well as investment grade and non-investment grade corporates.

TMT Finance is part of the Investment Banking Division (IBD) within Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA)


**Summary of the key purposes of the role**

The Vice President role's key purposes are to:

- Support building and managing relationships with target clients in the TMT sector
- Identify and address clients' needs in terms of raising debt and managing their / their portfolio companies' capital structure(s)
- Provide TMT sector expertise internally to support the firm's broader activities


**Summary of responsibilities**

- Contribute to originating debt financing and advisory mandates in the TMT sector through analysis and preparation of pitch materials

* Specifically, targeting IG and non-IG corporates and sponsors active in the EMEA region
* Product suite includes, among others, loans, bridge facilities, bonds and hedging instruments

- Contribute to the effective and responsible execution of mandates, including credit approval processes and syndication

* Responsible for financial modelling and drafting of and supervising juniors on drafting of memoranda
* Particular attention to meeting and completing compliance practices, KYC, due diligence, permanent supervision

- Monitor performance of companies in the team's loan portfolio
- Support the development of advisory and product offering in line with TMT's strategy and priorities
- Support the development of the TMT client base in line with GLBA's and SG Group's strategy and priorities
- Support TMT in internal dialogues with colleagues to provide best-in-class advisory to the client base

* TMT Finance works closely with Syndicate / TMT Industry group / Coverage / FSC / Compliance / Legal / OPER/RISQ


**Competencies**

* Technical:

* Understanding of capital markets and loan financing, the dynamics and the related instruments to propose relevant financing solutions and advisory
* Financial modelling competency, including knowledge and understanding of accounting concepts
* Ability to perform detailed credit analysis
* Capacity to generate pitch materials that are clear, well-structured, compelling, and comprehensive in addressing clients' needs
* Responsibility - awareness and understanding of risks (conduct, reputational, financial, etc.) for IBD, GLBA, and SG Group; acting responsibly in line with SG Group Values, Code of Conduct, and other applicable rules & regulations

* Behavioural:

* Client orientation - ability to contribute to the team's efforts to build and maintain trusted client relationships in a lead role
