Our Purchase Ledger Assistant will be a valued member of the Finance team based at our head office in Shenstone. You will be highly organised, well planned and have accurate processing skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload. You will be an excellent communicator, have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy being involved in all aspects of the purchase ledger and cash book function where your work really makes a difference. We're looking for a positive team player with a strong work ethic and great team spirit to match our collaborative, dynamic company culture.

Leanne Parry, Accounts Assistant (8 years with Autosmart)

Our Purchase Ledger Assistant will:

  • Accurately process a high volume of purchase invoices
  • Reconcile account balances
  • Code direct purchase ledger invoices
  • Manage a variety of payment requests and queries
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Ensure payments are made correctly in multiple currencies
  • Complete monthly reconciliation of consignment stock balances
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Process company expenses and credit cards
  • Support with month and year end procedures
Our Purchase Ledger Assistant will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years purchase ledger experience
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade A*-C
  • ERP system implementation experience advantageous (not essential)
