cer Financial are working alongside a Financial Services institution who are based in the City of London and are seeking an Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will heavily revolve around cashflow and financial modelling (creating models from scratch, but also enhancing and amending existing models) and financial analysis. If you have strong modelling skills (Excel) and understand structured finance products (ideally commercial real estate or shipping) we want to hear from you.

The Responsibilities of the Financial Modelling - Analyst Will Include:

Development of cashflow models in support of new business opportunities with a focus on accuracy and ease of use. Enhance the quality and useability of existing models. Drive model consistency across the group. Provide execution support to originators on a broad range of transactions and asset classes. Assist in the evaluation of strategic opportunities.

The Successful Analyst Will Have:

Strong financial analysis, cash flow and modelling skills - this is essential.Advanced Excel skills with the ability to develop complex models. Knowledge of commercial real estate, shipping, structured finance, or project finance sectors would be preferred. A strong desire to acquire and share technical knowledge with colleagues.
