I am working on a vacancy that will be suited to somebody with Accounts Payable knowledge and experience in addition to excellent communication skills. This role will be responsible for several Accounts Payable processes with the focus being upon Supplier relationship management and query resolution. My client is looking for a natural communicator with problem solving abilities and a positive attitude and mentality to work alongside a friendly and supportive team. The role will require the successful applicant to manage high value accounts for a large corporate organisation.

Job Description:

• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Inputting of supplier invoices
• Making relevant corrections and adjustments to the supplier ledger
• Reconciliation of bank details and payments made
• Processing of refunds and cheques
• Investigation work surrounding credit balances
• Regular uploads of data to the finance system
• Ad - hoc Reporting as required
• A large percentage of the role will focus on management and resolution of supplier queries for high value supplier accounts via telephone and email

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of and exposure to Accounts Payable processes
• Problem solving abilities
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Positive and people focussed approach to tasks
• High degree of attention to detail
• Although not a customer service position, previous Customer Service experience is beneficial
