Commercial Accountant
Stafford
£37,500 - £45,000
Seymour John are partnering with a global manufacturing company who seek to recruit a Commercial Accountant to work from their Stafford offices. Working within the FP&A department and reporting to the FP&A Manager, the successful recruit will have extensive internal stakeholder engagement. The role will cover a broad range of commercial aspects to include, Pricing & Margin Analysis, Reporting and the management of the Rebate facility. Reporting:• Publish Summary Daily, Weekly & Monthly Sales & Margin Reports
• Promotional analysis / approval / tracking to ensure maintaining required margin
• Preparation and updating of Customer & Market levels P&L's monthly / as required
• Preparation of Balance Sheet ReconciliationsPricing / Margin:
• Maintain current pricing structure / price lists
• Assist with pricing for tender negotiations
• Support sign off of Trading Agreements.
• Prepare (& eventually lead) monthly pricing meeting with Commercial Teams (supported by FP&A Manager)
• Perform Pricing Analysis in all Business Streams; agree actions with Commercial Director / Commercial Manager. (Track, monitor, recommend and report all Price increases)
• Business Partner to Category ManagersRebates:
• Management of customer rebate process within SAP
• Raising of rebate credit documentation
• Reconciling Rebate provisions
• Liaison with commercial to ensure rebate contracts reviewed and aligned to SAPTo be considered for this role you will have a strong analytical mind-set and have experience of working in a commercially focussed role ideally with exposure to pricing. Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment and / or use of SAP would be an advantage.
