Our client is a global organisation with head office in Oxford Looking for Process Improvement Accountant to optimise Shared Services Financial Accounting processes
Description
As the Process Improvement Accountant / Senior Financial Accountant our client is looking for your to review and assess the current processes across the Financial Accounts team in their Centre of Excellence / Shared Services function.
You will review all financial processes across the team and provide solutions. This may involve training/ up-skilling Finance employees and or improving an inter-company process and ensuring correct documentation of the process is created.
Profile
We are looking for a Qualified Accountant who has done more than just a BAU role.
We are looking for transformation / streamlining / optimisation experience - the ideal candidate will have improved financial processes. for example, reducing the time to close month end, reducing headcount or upskilled employees to be more productive.
We are looking for someone who knows what good looks like in a financial accounting division / Operational Finance department that looks after all Month end, year end, supplier payments, collections and reconciliations.
If you have improved the processes in these financial aspects then this 9 month project could be for you.
Based two days per week in the oxford office with remote working.
Job Offer
An excellent daily rate and long term contract with a business in Oxford.
Hybrid working is available but some presence in Oxford will be required.
The position is inside IR35, candidates willing to work PAYE or via an Umbrella required.
