Pricing Lead-Johannesburg (Incl. Northern Suburbs)
Logistics/Transport services industry, complicated pricing function i.e. Pricing every expense on a trip such as road tolls, fluctuating fuel prices, or the length it takes a driver to get through border posts etc

Reporting into the Head of Business Development & work closely to assist clients

Managing and growing a small team of 2 people, and grow this team

Use your experience from a service industry background to interpret complicated pricing

Understand what the best possible pricing is that can be offered to a client for it to be affordable for them whilst still remaining profitable for the Company

Use your degree to come up with clever pricing models

Work on and improve an internal quote calculator that aims to make creating complicated quotes simple for anyone at any level of the business

Research the market and identify competitors and what they charge etc

Advise the business on the best routes to run the trucks on or projects to target in the company's Oil & Gas services business.

Must have Pricing experience in the service industry (NOT a product), interpreting complicated pricing pref within the Logistics/Transport industry i.e. Pricing every trip expense such as road tolls, fluctuating fuel prices, etc

Previous experience creating pricing models

Have you priced a service in a complicated pricing environment i.e. Logistics/transport (NOT a product)?

Ability to implement new processes or technologies that you have found to be progressive in the market

Experience with various currencies and exchange rates cross-border & international

Supervisory skills (Direct reports: 2 x Quotes team members/Graduates)

Strong analytical and research skills

Working Hours: Monday to Friday plus alternate Saturdays to support a business running 24 hours a day
