Sr. Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Description:

Our client, a fast-growing telecommunications company, is looking to add a new FP&A manager to their team! The Sr. Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis serves as a key business partner between the finance and operational teams. This person will both lead and prepare financial modeling, business case analysis, and management reporting, along with budget and forecasting as required in support of the business leadership team.


  • Lead the annual budget, rolling forecast, and five (5) year business model processes.
  • Identify, capture, & report on key driver KPI?s and financials vs expectations.
  • Lead Monthly Operating Report meeting.
  • Customer analysis and segmentation development and reporting.
  • Capital spending governance & analysis (including business case modeling).
  • Cash Flow forecasting.
  • Coordinate with operational leaders to identify, track and measure key performance indicators. Hold team accountable to goals and facilitate mutual understanding of financial data between accounting, finance and business ops.
  • Capital spend governance, analysis and forecasting.
  • Coordinate, consolidate and present in a digestible manner, monthly operating results to leadership team.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA/CPA preferred.

Desired Background/Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to do data mining
  • Experience with month end Financial Reporting and variance analysis
  • Experience with financial modeling
  • Strong communication/presentation skills, both oral and written
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to work with cross functional groups
  • Strong supervisory/leadership skills, Strong computer skills required
  • MS Office, specifically Excel.
  • Strong capability for upward mobility with proven ability to coordinate in all levels of the organization and interface comfortably with senior executive team.


  • Minimum 7-10 years experience in related Finance support positions required.
