As a growing multi-site healthcare service organization, our client looks for professionals who demonstrate commitment to providing the highest quality, patient centered care across all our healthcare offices. As we continue to assess and improve our business processes, we have an opportunity to join our team as Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager in our corporate office in Schaumburg, IL.

Job Summary

This position will partner with our Executive Leadership Team and Senior Management to provide the data needed to make major operational, financial and strategic decisions. This position assists with budgeting, forecasting and analytical processes that support the organization's financial health and business strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the analysis of financial information to determine present and future financial performance, including coordinating monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual planning processes.
  • Builds and maintains a financial model detailing the entire company's operations and projects future performance.
  • Manages the annual budgeting process, as well as for managing cash flow forecast models, variance analysis, and other financial performance tools.
  • Builds and manages financial databases by organizing and analyzing a wide range of data sources.
  • Partners with all departments and leadership to create financial reports and key performance indicators that helps functional leaders better understand their operational performance to build out their strategic plans.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline work and improve processes to drive effective data analytics and provide recommendations enabling quality performance management discussions and better decision-making.
  • Uses data to generate key insights including variances to best practice, current performance, process change adoption levels, and pain points.
  • Performs ad hoc analysis and other duties as required.

Qualifications
  • Healthcare industry experience and multi-site experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required or relevant work experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience, variety of roles involved in financial planning and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience building complex financial and operational models, with varying depth to interact with various levels of the organization.
  • Analytical aptitude and a desire to investigate required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), good collaboration the ability to work effectively across groups.
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
