Accounting Manager
Currently working with dynamic hyper growth pre-IPO technology company which plans to grow 3X in the next 12 months and is starting to build out the accounting department under the Controller. This person will be the right hand person to the Controller and support a number of key projects and initiatives as they scale. They will also help run the corporate accounting functions including the full month-end duties, GL, and operational accounting functions. Qualified candidates will have 5-7 years of experience including some leadership functions at some point in their past. Please apply for further consideration.

Duties:
Coordinate the monthly close and provide meaningful analysis on financial trends (variance analysis, spending by team/category, etc).Lead the accounting team by preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, corporate credit cards, cash, and the procure-to-pay process.Ensure GAAP compliance and integrity of all financial data.Assess current accounting policies and procedures; offer scalable recommendations for improvement and implement approved improvements to meet accounting standards and controls.Provide support on inventory management issues (physical counts, inventory movements/errors, etc.).Continuously seek opportunities to grow revenues, lower costs, and improve margins.Ensure the company is in compliance with all applicable local, state and federal tax requirements and applicable licensing requirements.Generate internal and external financial.

Qualifications
5 years of corporate and/or public accounting firm experience with at least 2 managing staff; Proficiency with standard accounting tools: Netsuite, Expensify, Tipalti, Salesforce, etc. a plusExperience building out processes and policies for a growing organization.Experience working in a global environment.Ability to interface with all members of the team and a willingness to probe deeply into issues.
