Job Details

Accounting Advisory Manager is an entrepreneurial opportunity as the Manager will be a key member of this growing practice area.

Accounting Advisory Services' clients engage with us to help solve complex accounting and finance challenges where no two projects will be the same. This requires you to think on your feet and think in unique and creative ways to develop answers to complex issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Consult with clients on complex accounting and finance issues which may include, but are not limited to, technical accounting issues, financial reporting, operational accounting, buy-side or sell-side accounting assistance and post-merger integration.
  • Develop and lead an engagement team to respond to our clients' unique needs and expectations
  • Manage the client engagement including work plans, staffing, deadlines and budgets throughout the duration of the project, including strategy, goal-setting, deliverables and maintaining an integrated project plan
  • Build relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated services
  • Assist with new business development, including identification of other service need at our current clients
  • Participate in career development activities and technical training of staff
  • Develop and sustain relationships with client executives and senior management

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other related technical discipline is required
  • Minimum of five years in public accounting, preferably working within either an accounting advisory or external audit function is required
  • CPA license is required
  • SEC reporting experience preferred, but not required
  • A proven track record of managing projects and delivering excellent client service while building relationships with colleagues and clients
