The Forensic and Financial Services Group ("

FFS
") in the Plymouth Meeting, PA office of CBIZ MHM, LLC ("CBIZ") is expanding its team of professionals and seeks candidates for a SR. Manager position. The

FFS
Group is a team of accounting and finance experts that perform forensic accounting, business valuation, financial reporting intangible asset appraisals, economic damage assessments and litigation support services on behalf of law firms, the Court, corporations and private individuals. The CBIZ team combines a detailed understanding of the business, industry, and economic context with the ability to address complex valuation, accounting, and financial reporting issues. CBIZ takes pride in the development of a comprehensive and well-reasoned work product, including presentation of logical, defensible support for key assumptions, consideration of all available analytical procedures, and creative thinking beyond standard valuation and accounting approaches. The success of the CBIZ Forensic and Financial Services Group is embodied in the quality work product which is designed to withstand review by third parties and, as applicable, in audit support, administrative and court proceedings.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Review and analyze financial information and accounting records
  • Perform valuation techniques and forensic accounting analysis on valuation, and litigation support engagements
  • Write reports summarizing analyses performed and their impact on client
  • Review and summarize legal documents and client specific information
  • Supervise Associate and Senior Associate level personnel and keep in constant contact with engagement Managing Director(s)
  • Develop client and referral source relationships aimed at expanding FFS service offerings


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in public accounting or related field
  • 5+ years supervisory experience
  • Must have active CPA or equivalent certification
  • Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
