The Department of Health plays a critical role in the Victorian health system and is responsible for shaping it to meet the health needs of Victorians into the future. We also lead the Victorian Government's response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. POSITION SUMMARY:
Senior Budget Analyst - Finance (2 Vacancies)
The Senior Budget Analyst will work within a team that provides detailed budget development, management, analysis and reporting services to support a designated client group. The position has a key role in the coordination of cross portfolio tasks and process and will also contributes to the development, review and enhancement of financial management systems to ensure data integrity and detailed monitoring, management and reporting of budgets, including review and analysis of expenditure within the financial parameters.
The department is committed to providing and maintaining a working environment which is safe and without risk to the health of its workers and clients. The department may require its employees to be fully vaccinated against preventable diseases such as Influenza, coronavirus (COVID-19) and other transmissible diseases based on Victorian Chief Health Officer's Directions as issued and updated from time to time. Vaccination requirements may differ from role to role based on their risk category and duties performed. The department's policy outlines the risk categories and requirements for employees working for the department. Where relevant, proof of immunisation status may be required.
