Permanent Billing & Credit Control Team Leader, Based in Oldham

Your new role
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with permanent hybrid working in place. Your main duties will include: managing a portfolio of customers, act as 1st point of escalation within the team, investigate queries, mentor & train staff, hold 121's & appraisals with your team, allocate tasks, promote staff wellbeing & collaboration within the team, escalate accounts to legal stage when required, cash forecasting, reporting and deputise for the Billing & Credit Control Manager when required . This is a newly created role which provides full end to end exposure from billing to cash collection which allows you to manage and have full control of your work. With a separate Master Data team to support, you will be able to focus on driving your team forward and exceeding targets and moving the department forward.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a strong background in Credit Control or Billing, with both being the ideal but by no mean an essential. People management skills are desirable but candidates without who have operated in a senior manner will be considered. You will also ideally have good excel skills and be comfortable with V Look ups & Pivot tables but again this isn't a deal breaker. To be considered for the job being prepared and able to work in a very fast paced environment is a definite must!
