Management Accountant needed for St Albans at £38-45000

A successful European business is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join the team. This is a hands on role needing an experienced and positive individual


Your new role

• Monthly Management accounts
• Produce annual accounts for the company's local auditors to prepare the statutory accounts and tax return. Under guidance from Finance controller
• Posting of period end journals.
• Quarterly and Yearly VAT Returns
• Processing monthly payroll and company pension
• Approving and processing twice monthly AP pay runs
• Monthly Profit Centre Reports
• Maintaining and approving of Fixed Assets Register
• Daily Bank reconciliations
• Inter company Reconciliations
• Input purchase invoices from external and internal suppliers in multiple currencies and over various cost centres, get each invoice approved by relevant manager
• Input staff company expenses and reconcile company credit card
• Reconcile supplier statements and request missing invoices
• Produce twice monthly pay runs for FC to approve and process
• Producing a weekly breakdown of outstanding debts from customers
• Chasing payment for outstanding debts and reconciling accounts
• Liaising with customers for queries on their accounts

What you'll need to succeed
They are ideally looking for someone with experience in SAP and a good level of excel


What you'll get in return
9-5.30 or 8.30-5.00. Parking. 25 days Holiday. Role can be remote 3 days a week - possible 4 after an initial training period
