Job Details

This is a maternity cover contract and is a critical role in being the primary point of contact linking Finance to the IT side of the business.

Description

Forecasting and Reporting

  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of UKI IT & Data financial forecasting and reporting
  • Partner with IT & Data leadership team to understand cost drivers
  • Prepare and report the rolling forecast both opex and capex
  • Month end reporting and alignment with IBS Financial Controlling for prepayments and accruals
  • Alignment of RF/ME/Variance reporting (actuals v's forecast) with Business Unit & Supply Point FI Controllers
  • Global reporting for opex & capex
  • Understand and monitor risks and opportunities
  • Ad-hoc IT finance queries & analysis

Recharges

  • Manage DHUK recharge mechanism and animate changes to Business Units & Supply Points
  • Control annual Central Group Costs and animate changes to Business Units & Supply Points

Financial Planning Tools and Processes

  • Maintaining and checking the integrity of the database, forecast models and ways of working

Profile

The successful candidate for this position will have:

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with minimum 2 years experience in financial management roles in industry
  • Confidence with IT systems & controls (SAP - FICO module)​
  • Good data management skills, preferably with strong experience of using Excel/Power BI to create meaningful analysis
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure, to short deadlines
  • Experience of compliance and governance​
  • Continuous improvement mindset​
  • Confidence in communication to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders

Job Offer
