Hays is working on behalf of a NI Top 100 company to assisting them in adding a trainee accountant to their busy and growing finance team. This is a truly excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to kickstart their career in finance!

Your new role
In your first few months in this role, you will be introduced to the business with areas such as; managing the company's purchase ledger, raising and processing invoices etc. After this you will be brought on a trained, working directly underneath the company's financial controller and will be introduced and trained in areas such as; management accounts, accruals and prepayments, bank reconciliations and month end preparation.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will ideally have some previous finance experience. You will be a team player with a driven and determined attitude and a strong work ethic. You will have excellent communication skills and be eager to learn and develop.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a lucrative salary up to 25K (dependent on experience), as well as study support for any accountancy qualifications/exams. You will also receive a £500 pay increase upon successful completion of any accountancy exams.
