I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join an exciting and successful company based in Flintshire. Joining a dynamic finance team you will have an excellent opportunity to further your accountancy career in a business with an excellent track record of promoting from within.

Reporting to the Accountant duties will include:

* Assist in the production of the monthly management pack in advance of the board meetings
* Preparation of monthly review packs for financial reviews
* Coordinate the consolidation and reporting of Management information
* Act as number two to the Finance Manager and support the wider finance function
* Prepare and validate the weekly sales data including reporting to the business and group
* Intercompany contact for the business
* Liaising with group finance to ensure all reporting deadlines are met
* Perform reconciliations within the deadlines to ensure reporting is accurate and ties back to ERP system
* Perform reconciliations to ensure all monthly reporting data is consistent across management reporting
* Control financial master data including authorisations, GL accounts, financial statement version, new cost centres, product hierarchy maintenance

Qualifications & Experience:

* Strong academic background, graduate or equivalent
* Studying or desire to study CIMA/ACCA
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
* ERP systems knowledge such as SAP
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Good organisational and problem solving skills
