REQUIREMENTS
Matric with relevant qualification
Min 5 years experience in a bookkeeping role
Sage Pastel and Payroll experience essential
Communication skills in English and Afrikaans
Valid track record
Excellent financial acumen, accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail
DUTIES
Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions for the company
Update and maintain the general ledger
Reconciliation of entries into the Pastel accounting system
Debtors and Creditors
Maintain the trial balance by reconciliation of general ledgers
Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
Various SARS related administrative duties
Monitor any variances
Managing the filing system
General administration duties related to managing the finance sector
