Primary Responsibilites:

• Positions in this function prepare and maintain records of amounts owed and ensures prompt payment of invoices
• Processes and verifies invoice coding of expenses, preparation of vouchers, and issuance of checks for payment
• Reviews documents for accuracy and compliance with organization policy and regulatory guidelines including proper authorization, documentation, general ledger coding, correct amounts, proper remittance and sales tax
• May include responsibility for vendor and provider payments, as well as employee reimbursements
• Applies knowledge/skills to basic, repeated activities
• Demonstrates minimum depth of knowledge and skills in own function
• Responds to standard requests
• Requires assistance in responding to non-standard requests
• Solves routine problems by following established procedures
• Others prioritize and set deadlines for employee
• Works with others as part of a team

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• 3+ minimum years of professional account payable experience in BPO or Captive
• Hands-on experience performing the following:
  • Currently performing invoice processing
  • Responding to internal and external auditor requests
• Transition experience
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
• Ability to connect with SME onsite and do remote knowledge transition
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Good understanding of accounts payable process

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with PeopleSoft accounts payable/Essbase/Concur/NextGen or similar tools
• Good communication (Oral and Written) skills
