Financial Accountant required to join an SME FMCG business based in South Manchester

Your new company
Your new company are part of an International group, this SME FMCG business has a diversified portfolio of products and services, with a customer base spanning local SMEs to other multinational conglomerates. With an appetite to keep on growing they are well positioned in the market to capitalise on their existing client base.

Your new role
In your new role you will become part of the Financial Management Accounting team that focuses on the registration and compliance of the statutory accounts. You will provide daily support to the business in terms of variance analysis, planning and the optimisation of inventories. You will ensure that the statutory and financial accounts are inline with strict accounting legislation's such as local company law and US GAAP. You will take ownership of the external and internal audit.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA/ACCA Qualified an have experience working within a similar role. Strong experience in statutory accounting, reporting and submissions. You will have experience in owning the internal and external audit within a similar business. Experience in SOX, US GAAP and other relevant accounting standard is highly desirable.
