Job purpose :

The primary purpose of the role is to design and develop solution to drive efficiencies in the execution of Accounting & Tax, Payroll and Administrative processes for the Western Europe Market (France, Italy, Belgium). You’ll work as part of a small team of problem solvers in collaboration with a large Global Automation team with extensive experience in how to apply automation tools to solve and simplify complex data flows, to establish reporting which brings rich data insights. 

The Junior Business Analyst Automation will be trained on Alteryx if needed and you will receive Alteryx certification. Please note it is junior role and we are looking for person with understanding of finance processes with understanding of technology and automation. If you are willing to learn and develop even if you don't fulfill all requirements you may be suitable for the role. 

At this role you will have possibility to work partially remotely. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, store, analyze, and transform data from different sources and large datasets into information that can be utilized to make business decisions and actions, using various techniques and modelling of outputs.
  • Create complex reports and dashboards using various technologies (specially Excel, Databases, Alteryx and Power BI).
  • Maintain regular reports and amend changes based on stakeholders’ requirements.
  • Analyze, understand, and map process and (re)define process flows, reporting and data visualization that improve efficiency in how we deliver outputs and insights to our Clients.
  • Work with stakeholders, including Accountants and Payroll specialists in WEU to ensure requirements are captured accurately and solutions are meeting defined business needs.
  • Provide training and support to operational teams in order to implement the new automation solutions designed.
  • Create and manage (self-service) automation tools.
  • Ownership and oversight of data quality and identify potential enhancements.
  • Proactively act as the technical bridge between operational teams and other IT departments to resolve problems and implement new solutions
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Review with the WEU Opex Manager the automation strategies and priorities
  • Contribution to the preparation of business cases on new automation opportunities
  • Assist in the measurement of success of the new automated processes (KPIs)

 

Key Requirements:

  • Automation mindset as a primary skill
  • Technical / IT development oriented
  • High proficient with Excel
  • Proficient in English (strong B2 / C1)
  • Experience in Finance, Accounting, Payroll and/or Technology.
  • Knowledge of any data analytics or data visualization tool, process automation or programming language will be advantage (e.g. Alteryx – strongly preferred, Tableau, Power BI, VBA, SQL, UI Path, Python).
  • Prior experience in data analytics, process automation, master data management or process improvement will be advantage.
