Description

The EMEA Indirect Tax Manager (In-House) will be a key member of the team taking responsibility for the delivery of VAT & related statistical returns and ensuring tax compliance across numerous territories including the UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities include:

Growing, leading & developing the Indirect Tax compliance teamDelivering timely submission of indirect tax and statistical returns Managing the indirect tax cashflow for the group, ensuring all payments and refunds are made quickly and efficientlyCollaborating with the advisory teams on new systems implementation to assess the impact on the compliance function.Focusing on continuous improvement to bring efficiencies to processes and technology, improving ways of working and enhancing controlsManaging relationships with internal and external stakeholders and taking responsibility for the indirect tax compliance budgetEnsuring indirect taxes are correctly accounted for within the relevant finance systems for each reporting periodAd hoc involvement with indirect tax planning and advisory projects

Profile

We are keen to consider candidates with:

Tax qualification (CTA or ATT)Accounting qualification desirable (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)Strong communication skills with proven ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholderExcellent planning and organisation skillsCommercial awareness Good financial and analytical acumen

The role is well suited to candidates seeking a first move into industry from Practice, as well as experienced in-house Tax Managers with relevant skills and experience.

Job Offer
