Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of their exclusive client for a part time Assistant Accountant job working 22 hours a week (flexible how worked), salary is £23,000 - £26,000 full time equivalent + 34 days annual leave and highly competitive pension. The role also offers hybrid working (in office & home).

Your new role

Working as part of a busy finance team you will assist with the completion of a variety of reports, you will process journals including prepayments and accruals. You will process sales invoices, deal with a variety of queries from non finance individuals and complete balance sheet reconciliations. You will also be involved in process & system improvement projects.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced Finance professional with strong IT skills, in particular EXCEL. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast paced environment to tight deadlines.
