Growing medium sized accountancy practice - Manchester city centre - Experienced Audit Semi Senior


Your new firm
A highly established independent firm of chartered accountants based in Manchester city centre are seeking an experienced audit semi senior to join their audit department. The firm have experienced continuous growth for a number of years now, have an excellent client base, offer a wide range of accounting services and have in excess of 60 staff.

Your new job
In this audit job you will get the chance to work with a broad range of clients that are a whole host of sizes with turnovers reaching £200mil. As an experienced audit semi senior you will be responsible for planning and completing audit/accounts working files, conducting audit work in accordance with the agreed procedures, professionally represent the firm and its interests in dealings with clients and other professionals, identify opportunities to sell more services and supervise/develop junior members of staff.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking for a keen individual that firstly possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will ideally be ACA/ACCA part-qualified or very close to qualification. You will need to have an accurate and methodical approach to work, previous experience of working in an accountancy practice and a driving license as some audits will require travel. You will need to have a strong eye for detail, be able to take on ownership/responsibility and consider problems as a challenge.
