Interim Commercial Accountant

Your new company
This growing technology business which has an established reputation within their sector, are now looking for an experienced Interim Commercial Accountant to join their finance team on a 3-6 month assignment.

Your new role
Your new job will be maintaining, reviewing and analysing the standard costs of production. You'll be working with the sales team to ensure records are accurately maintained, monitoring deferred income, business partnering with the company's MD and FD whilst keeping an eye on the BAU elements of the accounts function. Further to this you'll be providing analysis of cost and revenue variances, working closely with the sales team to ensure issues are actioned.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or QBE with relevant experience of commercial accounting. You will need strong communication skills and be able to build relationships outside of finance to ensure reporting is improved to encourage better strategic and business decision making. The client has also requested that you have the availability to start immediately, or within a weeks notice.

What you'll get in return
You'll receive a competitive daily rate of up to £250 a day - out of scope. The business is operating with a highly flexible hybrid model currently which will continue throughout the assignment. It would require 1 day a week in the office, alongside offering flexible working hours. You'll be joining a fast-paced organisation who are well renowned within their industry, within a role which will offer you immediate exposure to impacting the business.
