Job Details
Michael Page is recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a Not for Profit organisation that is looking toward expansion in the future. This role is on an FTC basis lasting for 2+ years utilising Management Accounts experience.
Client Details
The organisation is government funded and Not for Profit, dedicated to improving the nation located in Leeds. They are looking to increase their team which has meant the introduction of the Management Accountant role.
Description
The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant are:
- Supporting the budgeting and monthly forecasting
- Coordination and delivery of financial analysis for assigned directorates
- Business partnering budget holders and guiding Executive Directors
- Leading on the financial modelling and financial planning for assigned directorates
- Year-end and month-end accounting for service areas, including the preparation and posting of accounting adjustments in SAP
- Cooperative working with the Strategic Finance function on projects
- Line Management
- Other ad hoc duties
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be a Qualified Account (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) DESIRABLE
- Have significant experience in management accounting ESSENTIAL
- Effective presentation skills and an ability to exercise initiative to change behaviours ESSENTIAL
- Costing experience in a complex financial environment including project costing ESSENTIAL
Job Offer
£34,304 Per Annum + 21.4% Employer Pension Contribution + 25 days holiday, bank holiday and closure days
