Assistant Controller

Position will be instrumental in the continued national expansion overseeing assigned accounting functions, and leading process/system improvements.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller:

• Lead, mentor and develop accounting managers and staff
• Preparation of balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, financial statements and related financial data
  Review and present financials for areas of responsibility with company leadership

• Identify risks and areas of opportunity for strategic decision making
• Assist with process improvements and implementations
• Assist with annual budget prep and review
• Act as a liaison for externals audits
• Assist operations leaders with accounting related matters
• Lead/assist in improvement of accounting/ finance processes

Preferred Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Business or related
• 5+ years Accounting experience
• Displayed progression and leadership experience
• CPA a plus
• Growth mindset and strong problem solver
• Interest in leading/assisting system and process improvements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
