6 month interim role as Finance Business Partner for a UK leading engineering and construction business

Client Details

UK leading engineering and construction Group based in Hertfordshire

Description

Responsibilities to include:

  • The financial analysis and reporting of the shared services entity
  • Become a financial partner to the Heads of Departments, assisting in broader business initiatives and supporting with quality information and analysis.
  • Assist in the Group reporting processes where required
  • Management of all ledgers and balance sheets for shared services departments
  • Preparation / Review of balance sheet reconciliation and journal processing as required
  • Improvement and control of internal recharges processes (such as insurances, fleet, IT)
  • Calculation and control of management charges
  • Support for Heads of Departments in calculating accruals and prepayments, budgeting and forecasting
  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Monthly reporting for group reporting purposes

Profile

The successful interim Finance Business Partner will be:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Strong communicator able to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the business
  • Experience in a business partner role
