Payroll Manager - French Speaking
Purpose of the job
Oversee and manage the day to day payroll processing for all SA and DRC companies
Qualification and experience
* Bcom Degree
* Minimum 10 years' experience, 5 of which must be in a supervisory manager role.
* Experience with DRC and SA payroll
* Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
* Experience in managing processes,
* people management,
* data entry management,
* Reporting Skills,
* Compensation and Wage Structure,
* Benefits Administration,
* Worker Compensation
* DRC and SA Employment Law
Responsibilities:
* Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishes, taxes, and other deductions.
* Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
* Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
* Ensures compliance with the labour law of the DRC , SA and best practices.
* Facilitates audits by ensuring records and documentation are provided to auditors.
* Identifies and recommends updates to payroll policy, processing software systems, and procedures.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
