Bookkeeper / Payroll Manager - Sandton
Leading Beauty Franchise owner requires an energetic, versatile and solutions-driven Bookkeeper to assist the Franchise owner with daily financial tasks across 5 stores. Tasks to include daily in-store Stock Takes, stock control, ordering of stock, supplier invoice reconciliations, assist with daily cash-ups and full monthly payroll process.
Stores are located in Sandton, Hurlingham and Pretoria. Candidate will be required to travel between sites.
Full time with flexibility.
Finance Diploma, Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Finance or similar field
Payroll diploma / 5 years' experience / relevant qualification
Responsibilities

* Assisting the Franchise owner with general administration and bookkeeping functions
* Monthly payroll processing, bi-annual filings and IRP5 EMP501 submissions
* Stock control per store. Process enhancement, oversight of daily stock take activities and variance investigation
* Reconciliation of stock movement report
* Stock procurement - orders and supplier reconciliations and invoice capture
* Assist with daily cash-ups
* Competencies
* A Financial/Accounting degree is required
* At least five years working experience in finance and payroll
* Ability to engage and guide beauty therapists in a participative, consultative manner regarding the My Appointment in-house management system
* Strong accounts payable skills
* Strong general administration skills
* Computer literacy with strong Excel skills is essential
* Knowledge of Sage VIP highly advantageous
