Starting salary up to $64.81/hour* ($135,266year) plus a cash allowance of approximately $600/month*

As a Finance and Retiree Services Manager, you are trusted with the authority to develop procedures and make decisions as they apply specifically to the Finance and Retiree Services Division and its staff. The division works closely with SCERA’s Investments, Member Services and Administrative Divisions, as well as Plan Sponsors and contracted vendors. Managing the Finance and Retiree Services Division of SCERA, you will also be responsible for:

• Planning, organizing, and coordinating the fiscal activities of the Retirement Association
• Leading staff in providing exemplary customer service to retirees and beneficiaries
• Supervising and reviewing accounting, retiree payroll, death benefit processing, and record keeping systems and procedures
• Assisting in preparation and monitoring of Association budget and requests for budget modifications
• Managing preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures for cash management, annual internal and external audit, and managing trust fund reserve accounts
• Assigning, reviewing, and evaluating the work of subordinate staff
