The Division of Child and Family Well Being Contract Manager is responsible for the overall management and administration of contracts and procurements for Division of Child and Family Well Being (DCFWB), involving numerous and complex federal funding streams. Provides fiscal and budgetary support/technical assistance to top management, executive staff to include the Assistant Secretary for Children and Families, Division Director and Deputy Director, and leaders of the programs within the Division: Food and Nutrition Services (FNS); Special Supplement Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC); Early Intervention; and Child Health and Prevention programs.
 
This position is responsible for the direct supervision of two full time staff, one contracts specialist and one purchasing specialist. The Contracts Manager serves as the contracting subject matter expert for hundreds of MOA/MOU’s, RFA/RFP’s, agreement addenda etc. that are initiated within the Division. This manager will ensure they meet all Division and DHHS legal and procedural requirements. This position will work closely with the OPCG to ensure best practices in the contracting process. The contract manager’s role requires close collaboration with various divisions, department, and state staff.
